Why Choose Us

Why Choose Our Specialized Termite Control in Portales, NM

Professional Termite Control technician working in Portales, NM

Licensed Termite Inspectors

Our inspectors hold state wood-destroying organism (WDO) licensing and produce documentation accepted for real estate transactions.

Rapid Scheduling for Active Infestations

When a Portales, NM customer reports a swarm or visible mud tubes, we move that inspection ahead of routine requests.

Transparent Treatment Pricing

You'll see the full cost of liquid termiticide or bait station installation before we start — priced by linear foot of foundation, not guesswork.

Professional-Grade Treatment Systems

We install non-repellent liquid termiticide barriers and in-ground bait stations, backed by moisture meters and acoustic detection tools. Beyond the treatment itself, you'll get a documented moisture assessment, since damp foundation zones are usually the first areas termites return to.

Service Solutions

Termite Control in Portales, NM: Comprehensive Solutions

Subterranean Termite Barrier Treatment

We trench and treat the full foundation line so worker termites carry the termiticide back to the colony itself.

In-Ground Bait Station Systems

Monitoring stations placed at intervals around the structure, checked on a schedule to intercept colonies before they reach the building.

Drywood Termite Spot & Structural Treatment

Drywood colonies live inside the wood itself, so treatment targets the specific members showing frass or kick-out holes.

WDO Inspection Reports for Real Estate

Licensed inspection documentation formatted to lender and closing requirements, delivered within the timeline your transaction needs.

Termite Damage Assessment & Repair Referral

Beyond treatment, we assess joist, sill plate, and subfloor damage so you know the full scope before repairs begin.

Pre-Construction & New Build Soil Treatment

Termiticide soil treatment applied before slab pour, protecting new construction from day one. Every crew also carries backup moisture meters, since accurate readings are what separate a real diagnosis from a guess.

FAQ

Termite Control Questions From Portales Customers

Trusted Termite Control service in Portales, NM - Nex Pest Control

Subterranean termites live in soil and travel via mud tubes into structures; drywood termites live entirely inside wood, requiring no soil contact.

Cost varies by foundation size and whether liquid barrier or bait stations are used; we quote in writing after seeing the property.

Most lenders and many state real estate transactions require a current WDO inspection report — we can turn documentation around on your closing timeline.

Modern termiticide treatments are designed for long-term colony elimination, generally backed by a multi-year warranty.

Over-the-counter sprays typically only repel termites locally rather than eliminating the colony, which can make the infestation harder to treat professionally later.

Swarmers are reproductive termites leaving a mature colony to start new ones — seeing a swarm usually means an established colony is nearby. It's also worth scheduling an annual re-inspection even after treatment, since new conducive conditions like grading changes can develop over time.
